    Study on the Growth and Compact Volume Holographic Storage Properties of Ce:Fe:LiNbO3 Crystal at 633 nm

    • Crystals of Ce:Fe:LINbO3 were grown from melt by Czochraski method. Compact Volume Holographic storage properties of the Ce:Fe:LiNbO3 at 633 nm have been studied for the first time. The response time of Fe:LiNbO3 and Ce:Fe:LiNbO3, with different impurity density, has been measured and compared. It is shown in our experment that Ce:fo:LINbO3 crystal is more sensitive to 633 urn than Fe:LINbO3 crystal. So it is a good kind of material of Volume Holographic record.
