Abstract
This paper presents a high-speed identification method - the square pulse response sequence method - for identifying the object model of sample control systems.The result obtained by this method is then employed in the high-speed simulation method (the time domain matrix method) to obtain the time domain response and cost.function of the system. The cost function is repeatedly called by a program derived from the simplex method, to optimize. the controller parameters. Thus theprocess of optimization is greatly expedited and the total computer timereduced.
