    Calculation of Natural Freguencies and Vibration Models of Geared System Coupling Flexural and Torsional Vibrations

    • The transfer matrix formulae is deduced for calculating natural frequencies and vibration models of geared system by considering both flexural vibration and torsional vibration. Practical calculations show that the natural frequencies of a geared system calculated on considering the coupling flexutal vibration and torsional vibration are much different from the frequencies calculated without considering the coupling factor. The former calculating result, however, has great significance in the designing of geared systems.
