Abstract
As the study of nonlinear vibration of elliptic hypebolic net using carbon fiber reinforced polymer is the base of its seismic design, the nonlinear vibration governing equation was presented on the basis of consideration of temperature changing.And the approximate solution to nonlinear vibration was given by use of the Galerkin principle and Improved L-P method.Then the factors that affects its nonlinear vibration, such as the amount of temperature changing, amplitude, as well as vector height were discussed with the comparison between cable and carbon fiber reinforced polymer.The temperature increment makes the nonlinear vibration frequency of cable structure fall.On the contrary, amplitude and vector height increment makes the nonlinear vibration frequency increase.Such are the conclusions that this paper makes.
