Abstract
Pillar crystals, some of which are 3mm in length, are obtained in the crystals grown from the melted mixed-powder of SrO and CuO, at the temperature of 1120℃ upon heating. The relevant electron microprobe analysis indicats that the composition of the pillar crystals obtained are similar to the crystal composition of SrCuO2, and the X-ray diffraction spectra of the powder-like composite can be indexed in an orthorhombic unit cell.
