Abstract
Zinc ferromagnet/carbon composites doped manganese, cobalt and nickel were prepared.Infrared spectrums were tested by using infrared spectrophotometer(KBr pellets) in the range of 2.5-25 μm while the extinction coefficients were calculated by using Lambert-Beer law.The extinction coefficients of manganese zinc ferromagnet/carbon composite and cobalt zinc ferromagnet/carbon composite first increased and dropped later with increasing temperature.Manganese zinc ferromagnet/carbon composite attained 0.1 m2/g in the range of 8-14 μm calcined at 800 ℃.Cobalt zinc ferromagnet/carbon composite calcined at 700 ℃ reached 0.2 m2/g and 0.25 m2/g in the range of 3-5 μm and 8-14 μm,respectively. The extinction coefficients of nickel zinc ferromagnet/carbon composite decreased with increasing temperature.
