Flow Measurements in The Arteriostenosis Models

The measurements of the flow velocities in the artarioste-nosis models with Laser Dopplor Velometer (L D V) are reported in this paper. The characteristics of the flow under various Reynolds numbers and the effects of geometric parameters in model on the flow are observed and studied. Then some useful data and clear flow patterns are obtained. For comparison the flow fields in various models obtained using the tracer photograph are presented. Both the results of the L D V and the tracer are good consistent.
