An Estimation Method of Technical Progress for Industrial Systems

  • An improved production-function method for measuring technical progress in industrial systems is given in this paper and especial discussion is made on the estimation method of the capital elasticity and the labour elasticity. The results obfained by the method show that the technical progress in China's industrial system has been accelerating in recent years, and the technical progress in Beijing industrial system is more rapid than that of all country. These results coinciding with intuitionally analytic conclusions.
