Effect of Impregnating with Nitrates on Properties of Desulfurizer from Coal

The properties of desulfurizer impregnated with nitrates of heavy metals for removal SO₂ from a mixture gas of SO₂/N₂ were studied.The desulfurizer from coal was impregnated in aqueous solution of 1 wt.% nitrate, dried and heated to 650℃.The SO₂ adsorption capacity of impregnated desulfurizer was 2~3 times that of conventional desulfurizer.The effect of nitrales kinds and impregnating time on properties of dcsulfurizer was discussed.
