A Study on the New Theory for the Transportation Process of Gases

Starting from the two assumptions concerned, a new approximate function, the composed function of distribution, has been derived. Applying this new function to the calculation of the transportation coefficient, the correct expressions have been obtained. Furthermore, the composed function of distribution will be more accurate if the Maxwellian free path "L" is substituted for the equivalent free path "l".
