Development of the Composite Microporous Glass Membranes(Ⅳ) On the Method to Raise Membrane Performances

When the composite glass membrane is produced via a sol-gel process, the sol system of TEOS-H₃BO₃ is applied. It is found that through appropriate drying control of the chemical additive (DCCA), the cracks accompanying with preparation of the membranes in point can be inhibited. And the blocking extent of the substrate can be efficiently reduced by hydrophobic treatment as well.
