Abstract
When the composite glass membrane is produced via a sol-gel process, the sol system of TEOS-H3BO3 is applied. It is found that through appropriate drying control of the chemical additive (DCCA), the cracks accompanying with preparation of the membranes in point can be inhibited. And the blocking extent of the substrate can be efficiently reduced by hydrophobic treatment as well.
