Retrospect and Prospect About Industrial Heat Pipes

This work not only summed up the research and application evolution about the industrial heat pipes but also analyzed their key technologies (compatibility, Liquid-gas phase transition, multi-phase flow and heat convection). A combination method of chemical inactivation and oxidation H-elimination which can prolong the service-life of industrial heat pipes and the optimum method to enhance the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer efficiency are proposed.
