An Investigation into the Dynamic Real-Time Sensing of Weld Width
This paper presents a unique real-time sensing equipment for measuring weld width based on infraed transverse temperature-field scanning of the centre of the weld bath. Measurement data could be monitored and recorded through display and printing system, or transmitted directly into a microcomputer for self-adaptive weld width control.
