Abstract
The model of elastic wave propagation is built on anisotropy cylindrical shell with Timoshenko model by axial impact load. With the coordinates transformation, the wave motion equations of the thin rotary orthotropic composite shell is given and the compatibility equations along characteristic lines are presented by general characteristic lines method. The numerical calculation curves are obtained.
