Characteristic Study on a Water-Cooled Microwave Ablation Antenna
This paper conducts the characteristic study on a water-cooled microwave ablation antenna.The specific absorption rate distribution and ablation area is determined from the phantom and vitro pig liver experiments.Resultsshow that a water-cooled antenna can reduce the carbonization of tissue near the microwave antenna by reducing the center temperature and the ablation area is more like elliptical.
