Prediction and Estimation Method for Railway Noise Based on GIS

In order to improve railway noise prediction and estimation,a railway noise prediction and estimation method based on GIS is advanced.It integrates GIS and railway noise prediction model.Noise data calculation and noise contour drawing is carried out through selecting railways,inputting correlative parameters, transferring prediction function and drawing function.The user may analyse noise effect and take corresponding countermeasure.
