Intelligent Vehicular Traffic Information System

In order to solve the problem of collection,integrating,transmitting and updating of traffic information in the road network,this paper studies and puts forward an intelligent vehicular traffic information system for automatic collection and generating of real-time traffic information in the road network based on the technology of VANET,and builds corresponding mathematical models of system.This system can realize the function of real-time collection and dynamic transmitting of traffic information in every road section by directly using the vehicles which travel on every road section in the road network and the existing information broadcasting technology of VANET and with no need for fixed facilities for collection,processing and transmitting of traffic information,and thus the real-time traffic information of the whole network is generated and updated,and it can provide drivers with reference through vehicular electronic map.
