A Study on Anisotropic Hardening of Materials Subjected to Large Plastic Deformation

In order to investigate the anisotropic hardening effect in the materials subjected to large plastic deformation, a new testing method, named “plane strain compression test in different lorientations”,is presented in this paper. The loading function of mixed model for brass is determin-ated by this method. It is shown that this method is available with engineering accuracy and can be used to solve plastic forming problems more accurately.
