Wethod for Site Determination of Transit Transfer Centers with the Aid of Computer

A method for site determination of the transit transfer center, is proposed in this paper. All transit transfer centers should be grouped into two categories: the predetermined and the non-predetermined. The former should be determined referring to related experts, municipal officials and some citizens and corresponding with master plan. The latter are identified first by a comparable index in quantity defined and then sifted by ACPFS Program. The final decision will be made based on comprehensive analyses of the above results and other constrained factors. Finally, a case study——site determination of transit transfer centers for Beijing metropolitan area is given in this paper.
