    Direct Measurement of Percentage modulation for Ultrasonic Standing wave Light Intensity modulator

    • A direct method using a PIN photo diode and a wide-band Osilfos-cope for the measurement of modulation percentage for ultrasonic standing wave light intensity modulator is reported. Percentage modulation of fused quarty and dense flint glass(ZF-6) modulators is measured at 30MHz, 56MHz, and 95MHz (3rd hamonic) respectively, and results are discussed.
