    • It is discussed the whole technical thinking of developing and exploiting the urban underground pipeline-network information system on microcomputer, for medium or small sized cities in China The system employed the PCAre View as its main GIS platform and adopted the object-oriented programming language. Experiments show that the thinking is feasible and fruitful, and has great practical values.
