The digital filter and the power spectrum estimation are mainly studied. First a series of analyses and derivations are made on the characteristics, structures, main design methods of the several typical filters such as IIR filter, Fir filter, Wiener filter, Kalman filter and adaptive filter and the emulation results are given. Simultaneously the emulation experiments for the various algorithm of the signal power spectrum estimation are done and the comparison between the algorithms are made.
