Wind Pressure Coefficients of Membrane Structures Based on Fluid-solid Interaction

    • In this paper, wind pressure coefficients of pitched roofs in different horizontal wind directions are firstly computed by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)software, and then wind pressure coefficients of membrane structures considering fluid structure interaction(FSI)are computed. The results of pitched roofs are compared with those of wind tunnel experiments, and it shows that CFD software can predict wind pressure coefficients of pitched roofs. In addition, the result indicates that FSI has more influence on the distribution and magnitude of wind pressure coefficients;and the prestress can affect wind pressure coefficients of membrane;moreover the deformation pattern of membrane changes when wind velocity increases.
