    Research of Architecture of PACS Based on Technique of Distributed Object

    • The authors firstly analyze the architecture based on the newest standards of medical industry and point out their deficiencies, and secondly analyze the technique of distributed object and three-tier client/server architecture, introduce this technique into the architecture of PACS, and derign a novel architecture based on the integration of medical industrial standards and technique of distributed object. Finally, the real functions of this new PACS are designed and implemented. Adopting this new architecture can shorten the development period of PACS, and make PACS more flexible, extensible and efficient in its operation and design.
