    A Self-government Model for Peer-to-peer Trust Management

    • Trust management is fundamental for information security in peer to peer network. There are sev- eral models which applied distributed method to construct trust between peers, but there is no way to guaran- tee security of the peer's behavior. In this paper, the nature of the trust is considered, and the paper present a highly self-governing trust model for peer to peer network. This model enhances the ability of self-govern- ment of peers, for the security of the peers each peer holds a local trust table for those who have exchanged information with it directly, and can determine the other indirect peers trust degree by subjective reasoning method. This improves the open net-work self-adaptability,and gives a new and valuable way for studying trust management in P2P network.
