    Function Analysis and Application of Vertical-Torsional Coupling Shear Apparatus

    • Vertical -Torsional Coupling Shear Apparatus was purchased by Beijing University of Technology recently. This apparatus can reproduce complex stress conditions and stress paths, and also can be used to perform static and dynamic soil experimental tests of sands or clays under complex consolidation condition. The test results indicate that the soil' s characteristics of deformation and strength under complex stress conditions can be done by using this apparatus. It has good precision and its results are reasonable and reliable.
