Distortional stress in A Trapezoidal Box Girder with Single-Cell

In this paper, using distortional angle as an unknown, the governing differential equation is derived by means of Energy Principle and Variation Approach for a trapezoidal box girder with single-cell. Several practical boundary conditions are listed as well as a brief introduction on analogous method by Elastic Beam Foundation is also given. Finally, through an illustrative example, discussion and comment are made on reference (6) and (7) of this paper.
