    Age Effect of Mechanical Property of Cement and Emulsified-asphalt Mortar

    • The stress-strain test of cement and emulsified- asphalt mortar (CA mortar) in different ages was carried out by universal material testing machine, and the variation of mechanical parameters of CA mortar with age growth was obtained. Results show that: the compressive strength gradually increases with age growth and the continued hydration of cement is the main influence factor; CA mortar has obvious strain hardening characteristic, the residual strength is around 75% of the peak strength, and the lateral constraint of asphalt network structure on the hydration products of cement limits the longitudinal development of the internal fracture of CA mortar. The mechanical parameters of CA mortar gradually increase with age growth, but the increase rate gradually decreases, the extreme values of mechanical parameters are obtained by data processing. The different mechanical parameters have internal relation, through the analysis of age effect of mechanical property of CA mortar, the unified function form of mutual conversion among mechanical parameters is established, which provides a shortcut for the determination of mechanical index of CA mortar.
