Effects of Laminar Shear Stress on the Differentiation of Cord Blood CD34+ Cells

    • In order to study the effects of laminar shear stress on the ex vivo expansion and differentiation of cord blood hematopoietic stem cells, three laminar shear stress of 0, 0.03, 0.06Pa are mainly investigated. The conclusion is that the laminar shear stress has no significant difference in the ex vivo expansion of total cells, CD34+ cells and CD34+38-cells;When cultivated under 0.03Pa LSS, the HSC tends to differentiate from BFU-E.When cultivated under 0.06Pa LSS, the HSC tends to differentiate from CFU-GM, and when cultivated under 0Pa, the HSC tends to differentiate from CFU-GEMM.
