    Study on Biaxially Textured Ag Substrates and YBCO High Temperature Superconducting Thin Films

    • The forming regularity and the processing technology of textured Ag tape possessing single component 110 orientation were studied. And a ll0 <100> textured silver tape was obtained by cold rolling and annealing. Superconducting YBCO films were made grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) on the 100 <100>, 110 <211> and 012 <100> textured silver substrates. In order to improve the strength of silver tapes, Cu was added in the silver substrates. The processing technology of textured Ag-Cu (1%, 3%, 5%Cu) tape possessing single component orientation was studied.
