The Preparation Methods of Pt/SnO₂ Catalyst Dope by REO_X

Pt/SnO₂ catalyst doped by rare earth oxide (REO_X) was prepared by impregnating Pt on the carrier of stannous dioxide and cerium oxide obtained by co-preparation. The catalytic activity for CO oxidation was reseached, and compared with that prepared by impregnating cerium oxide on Pt/SnO₂. The results show that the catalytic activity of Pt/SnO₂ doped cerium oxide gained by different methods were the same basically. The action of lattice oxygen in the catalysts was also observed.
