Experimental Study of Boiling Heat Transfer in Liquid Saturated Porous Bed——with Emphasis on Departure from Natural Convection

Experimental study was performed to investigate the holing transfer in liquid saturated porous bed. The incipient boiling chara-acteristics were exmined in detail. It is found that the boiling hysteresis may be well eliminated in the liquid saturated porous bed. However, deterioration of boiling heat transfer at high heat flux was observed.
