Seismic Behavior of Double-wall Precast Concrete Shear Wall Casting With SCC

  • The seismic behavior of double-wall precast concrete (DWPC) shear wall casting with selfconsolidating concrete was studied. Five DWPC with self-consolidating concrete (SCC) specimens under cyclic load were investigated. Some factors such as axial compression ratio, boundary elements, and insulation were considered. The stress mechanism, crack distribution, failure mode, energy dissipation and stiffness degradation of the DWPC specimens were analyzed. Experimental results show that DWPC shear wall casting with SCC has good seismic behavior. The precast concrete parts and the cast-in-situ concrete parts of the DWPC shear wall casting with SCC can work together in coordination very well under loading by means of truss steel. Increasing axial compression ratio and setting hidden columns will improve seismic behavior of the DWPC shear wall with SCC. The thermal insulation in the wall cannot reduce the bearing capacity of the DWPC shear wall casting with SCC.
