Stochastic Nature Analysis of Signalized Intersection Capacity
The purpose of this study is to check the stochastic nature saturated flows of at signalized intersections and the HCM method of determining capacity.Based on the surveyed data and using bootstrap method, it shows that the saturated flow rate is a random variable,and that it is suitable to use normal distribution.
