The Design and Manufacturing of Eye Prosthesis Based on Advanced Manufacturing Technology

  • Aiming at the problem of traditional method of the manufacturing of eye prosthesis, such as the outer precision is low and so on. A novel technique was put forward to design and manufacture the silastic eye prosthesis based on the advanced manufacturing technology CAD/CAM. The technology improved the outer precision and the anastomosis accuracy, which is a feasiable method to cure this kind of diseases.
