In order to develop Flash file system on embedded system, based on the Vxworks, the authors focus on the concept and memory management of Flash file system. The architecture of TrueFFS file system and the feasibility of the system reclaiming and wear-leveling algorithms are discussed in detail. By using linear average method, the wearing leveling algorithm is proved to be feasible.
