Normalized Distance Metrics Between Symbolic Sequences
In order to reasonably measure the difference between symbolic sequences in0,1, this paper presents the concepts of normalized identical distance and normalized edit distance. The concepts are proven reasonable in theory since they satisfy the three axioms of metrics for general symbolic sequences.
