Cracking is a serious problem in semi-rigid asphalt pavement This summary introduces he mechanism that the inverted structure prevents and cures cracking and its application to semi-rigid asphalt pavement in some countries, analyzes what cause the imperfect results, and puts forward some appropriate solutions. In conclusion, the flexible base structure can effectively decrease the cracking.
