Abstract
The heat-resistant coating prepared by silicone rubber and inorganic fillers has important application prospects in heat-resistant and corrosion-resistance environments. In this paper, self-made modified silicone rubber was used as the matrix, and different proportions of kaolin, silica and alumina were added to prepare the composite coatings. The dispersion of inorganic fillers in silicone rubber matrix was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The pyrolysis temperature and weight loss rate of the composite coatings were analyzed by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). Results show that in the composite system, the inorganic filler has good compatibility with the matrix and is uniformly dispersed. Compared with the matrix material, the addition of inorganic fillers can effectively improve the heat resistance of the composites. The mass residual rate at 800 益 of the composite coating with 20% filler content is more than 10% higher than that of the self-made modified silicone rubber matrix.
