    Remanufacturing Technology of Motors and the Business Model of Remanufacturing Enterprises in China

    • Motor, as a kind of equipment widely used in production, has consumed a lot of energy every year and produced a lot of end-of-life products. Remanufacturing, as an engineering activity that processes waste products with expired life into new products by using remanufacturing technology, has the characteristics of low energy consumption, low cost and low pollution, which brings a new way to deal with the end-of-life motors. In the face of the new value acquisition method and new market environment brought by the remanufacturing industry, remanufacturing enterprises can achieve the maximum profit by changing the business model, and how to change the business model has become the biggest issue. This paper started with the structure of different types of motors, analyzed the composition materials and recycling methods of different parts, and found the most suitable parts for remanufacturing. Then, it summarized the design, inspection, disassembly and the remanufacture methods of motor stator, rotor, core, winding and mechanical components of motor remanufacture. Finally, the business models of current remanufacturing enterprises were sorted out, the problems faced by current remanufacturing enterprises were analyzed, and the existing problems were prospected, to provide reference for the research of motor remanufacturing and the development of motor remanufacturing enterprises in China.
