Energy Saving Character Analysis of BIPVT Building Energy Supply System Under Different Climatic Conditions

    • In this paper, a building integrated photovoltaic-thermal (BIPVT) module and nearly zero energy building based on micro heat pipe array was designed. A solar-air energy multi-energy complementary energy supply system was adopted in the building to achieve multiple energy needs for building cooling, heating and power supply. To study whether the building can meet the standard of nearly zero energy building under different climatic conditions, a BIPVT building and its energy supply system were built. A simulation model of the energy supply system was established to analyze the energy-saving characteristics of the BIPVT building under different climatic conditions. Results show that the solar energy contribution rate of the BIPVT building energy supply system accounts for 56% to 98% of the building load, and the power generation takes up 70% to 100% of the power consumption to meet the building environment demand under different climatic conditions. According to the technical standards for nearly zero energy buildings, the energy-saving characteristics of BIPVT buildings were analyzed. In the selected typical cities, it can meet the standards of nearly zero energy buildings or zero energy buildings. The BIPVT building has better energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits, and it is a green building form worthy of promotion and application.
