Experimental Study on Dry Desulphurization of Sodium Bicarbonate

    • To promote the realization of coordinated control of pollutants and ultra-low emission, simplify desulfurization and dust removal process and create suitable flue gas conditions for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) denitrification, the effects of various factors on the desulfurization efficiency of sodium bicarbonate dry desulfurization were studied by setting up an integrated device for dry desulfurization and dust removal of flue gas. This report shows that how the factors of the system, such as temperature, the stoichiometric ratio of sodium bicarbonate to sulfur (NSR), the mass concentration of inlet SO2, particle size of sodium bicarbonate and mass concentration of the dust affect the desulfurization efficiency. According to the results, the best removal efficiency approached 95%. As the main factors of dry flue gas desulfurization, the efficiency dropped first and then remained stable with the increase of the temperature within the range of 130-200℃, and rose with the increase of NSR before they were stable. The efficiency increased with the mass concentration of inlet SO2 within the range of 1 000-2 000 mg/m3. In addition, the desulfurizer with a smaller particle size had better desulfurization efficiency. Therefore, the dust in flue gas can promote the desulfurization reaction to some extent.
