    Experimental Study of Thermal Characteristics of Li-ion Battery in Electric Vehicles

    • In order to study the thermal characteristics of 3 200 mA·h, 3.67 V cylindrical ternary material lithium battery, the charge/discharge thermal characteristics test at different temperature and charge/discharge rate were carried out. The test results show that the battery temperature rises rapidly with the increase of charge-discharge current and the decrease of the ambient temperature, and heating lithium-ion under low-temperature can improve the charge/discharge performance of lithium-ion batteries.
