Influence of Slip Velocity on Ink Flow Characteristics in Microscale

    • To research the influence of slip velocity ink flow characteristics in microscale on improving printing quality, this paper first theoretically analyzed it. Then, ink flowing among ink rollers were simulated by using FLUENT that is professional flow simulate software. The ink velocity and pressure were analyzed from two aspects:non-slip and slip. Meanwhile, the ink effective thickness was extracted. Finally, the characteristic data was comparatively analyzed. Result shows that the ink velocity increases, the pressure will be reduced and the thickness will increase as the degree of slip increases when the direction of slip velocity is as same as the velocity of ink. The ink velocity decreases, the pressure will increase, and the ink thickness will be reduced as the degree of slip increases when the direction of slip velocity is as opposite as the velocity of ink.
