    Experimental Study on Dynamic Mechanical Properties of ZN-35 Silicone Rubber

    • To research the dynamic mechanical properties of ZN-35 silicone rubber materials at a wide frequency range. In this paper, the storage modulus, loss modulus and loss factor of ZN-35 silicone rubber material in the low frequency range of 11 different temperatures were tested by DMTA dynamic thermal mechanical tester. According to GJB981—90 viscoelastic material forced non resonance dynamic test method and master curve method, the material master curve was pictured by calculating and processing the original data. The dynamic mechanical properties of the higher frequency at different temperatures were predicted, which provides the basic data for the design of the damping material. Results show that the storage modulus and loss modulus of ZN-35 silicone rubber decrease with the increase of the temperature at the same frequency. When the temperature is constant, the storage modulus and loss modulus will increase with the increase of the frequency, and it will be stable. The master curve method can accurately obtain the dynamic mechanical properties of ZN-35 silicone rubber materials at high frequency.
