Process of Co-Cr Alloy Fabricated by Selective Laser Melting

    • This paper studies the forming process of single-layercobalt-chromium alloys fabricated by selective laser melting. The reasonable forming process was determined by discussing the influence rule of laser power, scanning speed and overlap rate on the weld width and morphology. Results show that line energy φ has an impact on the molding quality and weld width dm, a continuous and regular weld pool with a small range of powder free zone was obtained when 1. 22 < φ <2. 33 J/mm. A stable fitting relationship can be obtained between line energy and weld width with the optimized process parameters, which provides a reasonable reference for single multi-channel shaping. The adjacent cladding channels can be lapped closely when the overlap rate is 35% with the surface roughness as low as 5μm because the expansion height of the remelting portion is reasonable.
