    Dynamic Simulation Analysis of Two Ink Rollers Movement in the Ink Supply System of an Offset Printing Machine

    • To study the effects on ink roller stress strain and deformation, which is produced by the initial extrusion and collision between the two ink rollers in the offset printing, the finite element dynamics analysis and simulation are performed on a couple of steel fountain roller and rubber distributor roller. First, the modeling, assembly and kinematic simulation of the roller swing mechanism were accomplished by UG, the collision speed between fountain roller and distributor roller was obtained by the motion simulation result. Second, the numerical simulation of the two roller movement was established by ANSYS Workbench and LS-DYNA. The simulation results show that the maximum effective stress area is in the boundary of contact area, i.e., a double-peak in circumferential area on distributor roller. The initial speed has an effect on the distributor roller deformation, and the initial pressure has a significant effect on the distributor roller maximum effective stress.
