Abstract
In order to solve the shortage of parking space and the problem of parking congestion in Beijing,the influence factors of parking lot scope and the actual impact scope were determined in this paper based on drivers' parking behavior survey by non-parametric test,and by analyzing pilot gender,travel purpose,type of parking guidance,the relationship between parking fees and walking distance.Then the minimal area of the parking lot effect was determined by using the density of the parking lot and Thiessen polygons. Finally,the revision of the area was carried out by considering the actual impact area and the minimum impact area,combining the characteristics of the chessboard type road network in Beijing and the reasonable area of the parking lot was obtained.
