Effect of Particle Pollution on Regional Meteorological Factors in China

    • In this paper, the new generation of on-lineair quality model Weather Research Forecasting Model with Chemistry(WRF-chem) was applied to investigate the effect of particle pollution on net radiation, temperature at 2 meter(T2),the height of atmosphericboundary layer(PBL) and precipitation in January,April,July and October respectively in 2006.The model evaluation result shows that WRF-chem can reflect the characteristics of meteorological factors and the PM10 concentration distributions in four seasons.Under the influence of particle's direct,semi-direct and indirect effects, and monthly-mean net radiation decreased-9.12,-8.53,- 10.94 and- 11.23 W/m2,monthlymean T2 decreased-0.18,-0.12,-0.17,- 0.221,and monthly-mean height of PBL-16.44,-8.42,-15.48,-22.59 m in January,April,July and October respectively.Obvious decrease occurs in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH),Yangtze River Delta(YRD) and Pearl River Delta(PRD)region,Shandong Peninsula,Wuhan and surrounding,Chang-Zhu-Tan and Chengdu-Chongqing regions where the particle concentration is high and the highest decrease occurs in autumn.
