    Properties and Micro-structure of Direct Coal Liquefaction Residue Blending Modified Asphalt

    • To analyze properties and micro-structure of DCLR( direct coal liquefaction residue) blending modified asphalt, different DCLR blending modified asphalts were prepared. The base asphalt was SK-90 and the DCLR content was 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by mass of base asphalt. The properties and micro-structures of DCLR blending modified asphalts were tested by SHRP PG, penetration system, infrared spectrometer and gel permeation chromatograph. The results indicate that the high-temperature properties of DCLR blending modified asphalts are improved, but the low-temperature and fatigue resistance of DCLR blending modified asphalts decline. Meanwhile, the DCLR modifications are mostly physical modifications based on the change of molecular weight distribution and functional group of the DCLR blending modified asphalts.
